SegmentStreamContinuity

Succession for marketing and product analytics software.

Your brand and customers stay. Engineering, infrastructure and the agentic layer move to SegmentStream Cloud, the platform SegmentStream itself runs on.

For founders of marketing and product analytics software, roughly $300k to $3M ARR.

The long tail can no longer afford its own stack

A marketing or product analytics product at a few hundred thousand to a few million in ARR carries a full data platform: collectors, pipelines, a warehouse, dashboards, integrations that break every quarter. Keeping that current, reliable and agent-ready now costs more than the product earns.

One stack under your brand

We move the product under the hood onto SegmentStream Cloud: the same infrastructure SegmentStream itself runs on. Sources, events, transformations, warehouse, Postgres and the app all become code in a repo, on a platform we operate.

Continuity for customers, a way out of ops for founders

Your customers keep the product they bought, under the name they know, at the price they pay. Engineering, infrastructure, reliability and the agentic layer become ours. You choose whether to stay on sales and customer success or step out of operations entirely.

What stays with you. What moves to us.

The line is drawn at the customer. Everything they see and pay for is yours. Everything that keeps it running is ours.

Stays with you

  • Your brand, domain and product name
  • Your customers, contracts and pricing
  • Your dashboards and the numbers in them
  • Your pixel, SDK and API contracts, unchanged
  • Your role on sales and customer success, if you want it

Moves to SegmentStream

  • Infrastructure: collectors, pipelines, warehouse, Postgres, hosting
  • Engineering: connectors, transformations, the app itself, as code
  • Reliability: monitoring, on-call, L2 and L3 support
  • The agentic layer: CLI, MCP and skills so agents can operate the product
  • Integrations that break when a platform changes its API

Under the hood, not in front of customers.

A move is proven before it is made. The old system runs alongside the new one until every customer's reports agree.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We read the product, the stack and the data flows together. What comes in, what is computed, what customers look at, what breaks. Two weeks, under NDA, no commitment.

  2. 02

    Mirror

Your tracking endpoints move behind our collector by DNS. Same request format, same cookies, same responses. The old system keeps receiving every event in parallel.

  3. 03

    Replatform

Transformations, models and the app are rebuilt as code on the platform, largely by agents, reviewed by engineers. The interface reproduces what customers use today.

  4. 04

    Parity

Old and new run side by side on the same events. Reports are compared customer by customer until the numbers match. Nothing is switched before they do.

  5. 05

    Cutover

Traffic moves. The old stack stays warm for a quarter. Customers notice nothing except that the product keeps improving.

The stack SegmentStream runs on, opened to your product.

SegmentStream has run marketing attribution infrastructure for ten years for brands you know. SegmentStream Cloud is that infrastructure as a platform. Your product becomes one of the apps on it.

ad platforms with managed OAuth in the platform

EU · US

regions, one isolated cloud project per product

Managed ad-platform connections

Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, LinkedIn and X Ads through SegmentStream's own OAuth application, with a backend proxy so tokens never reach product code.

Isolation per product

Every product gets its own cloud project, warehouse, Postgres and runtime. Nothing is shared across products except the platform.

EU and US regions

Workspaces provision in the EU or the US with the warehouse pinned to that region.

Pipelines, lineage and checks

Pipelines as code with partitions, backfills and checks, plus live lineage and run history in the console and the CLI.

CLI and agent workflow

Deployments, runs, logs and connections from a terminal or from an agent. Skills ship with every workspace.

Eventsplanned

First-party event collection, schema-free at the edge, with product and marketing templates on top.

Who this is for.

Independent products with real customers, not ideas. Below the range, the self-serve platform is the better door: build on SegmentStream Cloud directly.

  • Marketing attribution, marketing analytics and reporting, product analytics, data connectors, agency white-label reporting
  • Roughly $300k to $3M in annual recurring revenue
  • Real customers with real data, and a founder who would rather not run infrastructure for another five years
  • Any stack. Any schema. Pixel or API-based collection

Questions founders ask first.

Do our customers have to change anything?
No. The move happens under the hood. Domains, pixels, logins and dashboards stay as they are. The only thing customers may receive is the standard notice when a sub-processor changes, and that goes out after parity is proven, not before.
What happens to customer data?
It stays yours, isolated from every other product on the platform in its own cloud project and warehouse, in the EU or the US. We do not pool or reuse data across products.
How does the commercial side work?
Terms are discussed after the technical assessment, when both sides know what the move involves. There is more than one structure and none of them start with a price on this page.
We have no agentic roadmap. Is that a problem?
That is the point. Products on the platform get the CLI, MCP and agent skills that SegmentStream itself uses, so your product becomes something an agent can operate, not something it has to work around.
How long does it take?
The assessment takes about two weeks. A move from assessment to cutover typically takes a few months, most of it spent on mirror and parity rather than on writing code.
